How to apply to
The Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust
Our overall guidelines are very broad and many organisations and projects fit into the categories for funding. However within them, please be aware that the Trustees may have their own strategic priorities. Therefore the Adams’ application process consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Complete the one page Funding Application Form (using the link below) and attach a one page concept note. Please note, these will only be accepted electronically. The concept note should briefly outline what your organisation does and what piece of work you would like funded, with a budget for the project. We will be able to assess from this if we think the project fits our strategic priorities. If it does, you will be asked to submit a fuller proposal and provide more detailed information.
Stage 2: If you are invited to make a fuller application you will be asked to include full accounts, an annual review and a strategic or business plan. If you do not have a formal plan you will be asked to describe how the work you are planning fits with your objectives. We will want to know how a grant from Adams will help you to achieve your aims.
If we cannot help you we will let you know as soon as possible. We receive many applications for support and although your work may fit with our priorities we may not necessarily be able to help you. If you are unsure about whether or not you are eligible to apply, you are welcome to telephone us for guidance.
